Final-year student at ASOME in Kigali. Clinical rotations, exams, and what it really takes to become a doctor.
Health education and honest med-school stories on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok — made for young Africans.
New places, spontaneous adventures and the side quests that keep life interesting outside the hospital.
I'm Maxime Ruhaya, a final-year medical student at the Adventist School of Medicine of East-Central Africa (ASOME) in Kigali. I'm not here as the student with perfect grades — I'm the average student who figured out how to survive, and I document it so you can too.
Outside the hospital I create health content for young Africans, and whenever I can, I travel and go on side quests with the camera rolling. Medicine comes first; everything I make is about making health easier to understand and easier to reach.
Brands, schools and organisations that want clear, trustworthy health content for young audiences across Africa.
